Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026. Applies to northamberfield.com.
1. Summary
We do not run user accounts, we do not sell data and we do not build advertising profiles. The site is a set of static pages plus one browser game that runs entirely on your device.
2. Data we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and browser user-agent for security and troubleshooting. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted.
- Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep the message and your address only as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the request.
We do not collect names, addresses, payment details or age documents.
3. Cookies and local storage
We set no tracking or advertising cookies. The free browser game keeps its coin balance in memory for the duration of your visit only; closing the tab discards it. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)
Server logs are processed under legitimate interests (site security and reliability). Correspondence is processed under legitimate interests in answering your enquiry.
5. Third parties
- Our hosting provider, acting as a processor for delivery and logging.
- Google Fonts, for typography delivery.
- Google Play, only if you choose to follow an external store link — their policies then apply.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection regarding any personal data we hold. Write to privacy@northamberfield.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
7. Children
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly process data relating to children. If you believe a child has contacted us, tell us and we will delete the record.
8. Changes
Updates are published on this page with a new revision date. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page.
